POLYPLAY playfully throws you off course, steering you toward new paths into the future. Their positive naivety toward multiply nested polyrhythms, combined with a simultaneously crystal-clear and meticulous form of expression, is truly unprecedented. Our future world needs a multitude of new structures—ones that are interconnected through global solidarity, implemented locally, and that unite intellectual and embodied knowledge. POLYPLAY’s music is much the same. The wildest rhythmic concepts from diverse places and musical traditions are joyfully recombined in the form of futuristic beats and electro-acoustic hybrid sounds.
