Yacon Salsa brings Caribbean flair to Europe on its third international tour through Switzerland, Germany, and Italy
Yacon Salsa, a dynamic Colombian-Argentine trio based in Bahia (Brazil), announces its third European tour for 2026. Following two successful tours that took the band to Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Brazil, and Mexico, among other places, they are returning to Europe with a refined musical program: more rhythmic, warmer, and offering an even more intense sonic experience. Stops in Switzerland include the Theater Spektakel in Zurich, as well as performances in Vevey and Ebikon.
The band specializes in reviving the “Golden Age” of salsa from the 1970s and 1980s—shaped by artists such as Rubén Blades, El Gran Combo, and Los Van Van. In doing so, Yacon Salsa serves as a bridge between the traditional sounds of the Caribbean and today’s audiences in Europe and Latin America. Their approach goes far beyond mere imitation; it is a captivating experience that aims to establish a direct connection with the audience through dance and shared energy.
“Our performance matures with every tour,” says the band. “On this third European tour, we’re not only presenting the classic hits, but also offering a more polished performance and a more intimate and lively atmosphere. We want that unique warmth that sets us apart to be felt at every venue.”
