The two friends Ramona and Nico have just finished school and are letting themselves be carried away by the Berlin summer. When they release their neighbor's rare bird after a prank with a slingshot and Ramona's little brother Noah gets lost at a climate demonstration, they start to run away. Reluctantly, in a politically charged world that demands an attitude from them, they encounter moments of quiet poetry and social friction. As they search for the released bird and the little brother, they struggle to find their friendship, believe in themselves and stumble unexpectedly into other hopeful life stories.
