In the organizer's words:

This ceramics workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to get their hands dirty again and wants to try their hand at pottery. The workshop takes place in our workshop in the Severinsviertel, in a nice small group of a maximum of eight people.

This ceramics workshop takes place on one date. You will learn how to create beautiful things from clay without a wheel and without any previous knowledge. We will show you two different hand-building techniques: pinching and slab building with the help of templates. You will make a small bowl and a cup or mug. A beautiful beige clay is used, which gets pretty brown speckles after firing.

After the workshop, your pieces will be bisqued and then glazed transparently by us. They will then go into the kiln for a second time and can then be collected by you.

You don't need any previous experience for this pottery workshop - but short fingernails are clearly an advantage.

All costs for materials and two firings are included in the price.
