In the organizer's words:

Have you always wanted to try your hand at turning the potter's wheel and find out what clay feels like between your fingers? Then this is the right course for you.
On the first date, I will show you from scratch how to turn a small vessel on the electric potter's wheel.
You will learn how to center, open the clay and raise the walls. Embark on this little adventure and forget everything else around you for a few hours.

After your works have dried until they are leather-hard, they will be turned at the second appointment. Here we refine the shape, trim a small foot and smooth the surface.

After the ceramics have been fired for the first time, I glaze them in the glaze of your choice and they go into the glaze firing.
You can collect your ceramics about four weeks after the course.

You don't need any previous experience for this pottery workshop - but short fingernails are clearly an advantage.
It is best to wear comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. All stains can be removed in the normal laundry. Bring a small towel and an apron if necessary.

All costs for materials and two fires are included in the price.
