Impressive villas, wide avenues and well-tended gardens. This is Cologne's noble Marienburg district. You don't live here "in Marienburg", but "on Marienburg". The British-style villa colony, built around 1900, is very different from the rest of Cologne.
On a relaxed tour, we take a look at some of the villas, learn a lot about the history of this part of the city and smile at some of the details about the residents
