Germany 1987, 130 min., German version, FSK 6, directed by Wim Wenders, starring Bruno Ganz, Solveig Dommartin, Peter Falk, and others. 

The angel Damiel wanders through divided Berlin accompanied by his heavenly colleague Cassiel. They view the world in black and white and listen to the thoughts of mortals. In search of emotions such as longing and passion, Damiel dreams of a genuine, earthly existence reserved solely for humans. When he falls in love with the trapeze artist Marion, he takes the plunge into mortality and experiences the world in new colors. A quietly told, poetic, and romantic fairy tale.

Unless otherwise noted, we show all films in the German dubbed version. Look forward to a lovingly curated mix of timeless classics and arthouse gems.  
 
The garden opens at 6 p.m.—perfect for arriving early, taking a deep breath, and getting in the mood. As soon as the sun goes down, your movie experience begins.
