Philippe Abrams, a postal worker, is transferred to northern France, to the region of the Sch'tis. He isn’t very thrilled about it. But Philippe quickly realizes that while he doesn’t understand the Sch’ti dialect, the people are incredibly warm and welcoming. First and foremost is the mailman Antoine, who soon becomes his best friend. When Philippe visits his wife in southern France on his days off, he lies to her, claiming he’s unhappy in the supposedly barbaric north. When his wife wants to visit him, he has to come up with a quick excuse.

The garden opens at 6 p.m.—perfect for arriving early, taking a deep breath, and getting in the mood. As soon as the sun goes down, your movie experience begins.
