Twenty-six-year-old Élise has a promising career as a ballet dancer ahead of her. But when she is seriously injured while performing a jump on stage, everything she has worked toward for years comes crashing down. Piece by piece, Élise must rebuild her life. Her journey takes her from Paris to Brittany, where she finds new friends, a new love, and the freedom to finally do what she loves most. 

During the pandemic, Cédric Klapisch wrote a screenplay that explores one of his great passions—dance—and also delves into the winding paths of life and love. Inspiring and heartwarming, starring French dancer Marion Barbeau in the lead role!

We’re screening the film in the French-language version with German subtitles in cooperation with the German-French Institute in Erlangen.
