Jazz + Beats: Lisa Wulff Trio „Phenomena“ + DJ Naama

The Lisa Wulff Trio – PHENOMENA embodies chamber-style contemporary jazz. Together with Gabriel Coburger and Friedrich Paravicini, the bassist forms a unique trio that imbues her compositions with multifaceted timbres. Amid offbeat grooves, free improvisations, and classically inspired passages, an experimental sonic journey unfolds—melodic, mystical, and full of energy.

The lineup, which omits drums, opens up new musical spaces: an unmistakable sound emerges from unusual combinations of the Ondes Martenot, cello, double bass, bass clarinet, and soprano bass.

Lisa Wulff, a native of Hamburg, studied in Bremen and Hamburg. Among other honors, she has been awarded the IBSH JazzAward, nominated for the Echo Jazz Award, and received the Hamburg Jazz Prize as well as the German Jazz Prize (2023). In addition to her own projects, she performs regularly with the NDR Big Band, has played in Rolf Kühn’s quartet, and collaborates internationally with renowned musicians.

DJ: Naama
Naama is a musician, artist, and DJ based in Hamburg. As a modern Renaissance woman with a peculiar affinity for German post-punk and new wave, Naama always speaks her mind behind the decks. As she explores the space between euphoria and melancholy in both music and art, anything goes in her sets—as long as it moves the body and the soul.

The “Jazz & Beats” event series is bringing jazz back to Eppendorf in 2026. In addition to concerts by renowned artists, the Kunstklinik invites guests to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere—complete with trendy drinks and rotating DJs. The event series, featuring select concerts, is sponsored by the Hamburg Nord District Office.
