Flaw and Order (Jazz aus Osnabrück)

The Osnabrück jazz quartet “Flaw And Order, ” as its name suggests, explores the ambivalence between chaos and order. Fixed structures are deliberately disrupted, and a new sense of order emerges from a cacophony of sounds. In the process, the four musicians continually explore different sonic worlds, sounding at times detached, free, and ethereal, and at other times grounded, clear, and catchy.

Their musical curiosity is expressed primarily through original compositions, but also through modern interpretations of songs and standards. The music that emerges is mostly rooted in modern jazz, though oriental or rock-inspired sounds frequently find their way into the band’s style.
