Almost three years have passed since the Hamburg-based band GRUNDEIS (founded in 2018) released their debut album *Amygdala* (released in November 2021), a dark post-punk extravaganza with gothic and shoegaze elements. The first album was highly acclaimed and well-received by both the national and international press and among listeners, with the vinyl edition selling out in no time.
For their second album, *Every Second an Ocean* (released December 12, 2024, on UNDRESSED Records), the band took their time. This time was especially needed for growth and transformation. The album’s title reflects the intensity and power of this second record: 14 songs, over an hour of playing time—a monumental album
GRUNDEIS significantly expand their creative range on the new album, and despite the long runtime, there is no sense of musical or thematic indifference. Not a single track feels superfluous, and none serves merely as filler. Boldly and skillfully, the band navigates between dreamy shoegaze ballads, forceful, hard-hitting noise rock, and rebellious post-punk. GRUNDEIS display a newfound musical and personal self-assurance. The deep traumas of *Amygdala* seem to have been overcome, though emotional depth and honesty have also found their way into *Every Second an Ocean*. In 2024, GRUNDEIS once again prove why they have been regarded as one of the hottest German newcomers since their debut and assert their status as a serious international rock act.

Seirén is a British-Mexican musical project based in Mexico City that exemplifies a fusion of diverse cultural influences and a profound artistic vision. It is led by the Mexican singer, songwriter, and guitarist Helea Gimeno.
Known for her captivating vocal range and ethereal melodies, Helea’s hypnotic voice weaves intricate soundscapes. Seirén’s music invites listeners into a realm where psychedelic rock, shoegaze, post-rock, art-rock, experimental rock, Middle Eastern influences, and operatic nuances converge to create a unique sonic experience.

Bandeliers is a Paris-based alternative rock band. With singer and multi-instrumentalist Bleu Reine joining the lineup in 2025, the band has embraced a new aesthetic direction. Blending raw emotion with layered instrumentals, their music can be described as tense dream pop drenched in post-punk urgency. Guided by their motto—“like a high school band with the maturity of thirty-year-olds”—they write, compose, and record together. From their seaside retreat in Brittany emerged “Come Clean” and “Shed Skin” (Vaguery Records / Les Disques du Paradis), twin songs that reflect both reckoning and rebirth.
Back from their European tour (November 2025), the band is currently working on a new set of songs and will tour this summer in France, Germany, and the UK before returning to the studio.
