***30 JAHRE HAFENKLANG*** Mutter - Die Lampe - Benni Bo

Mutter is a Berlin-based rock band that has been active since 1986. It has released 14 albums since its founding. In 2005, the band was the subject of the documentary film *Wir waren niemals hier*, which was presented as part of the Berlinale’s side program.

Die Lampe, a new solo project by sound artist and musician Christoph Rothmeier, performs live using a minimalist setup consisting of small electronic devices, a theremin, and hand percussion. Musically, he creates dark scenarios of an absurd journey through an imaginary living room, blending post-exotica, dub-infused electronica, dreamy home organs, and headbanging moments with lampshades.
