Familien-Sinfoniekonzert: Es werde Licht!
In the organizer's words:
Discover with Juri Tetzlaff how Beethoven makes music shine
That summer, Ludwig spent a happy time in the countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of Vienna: At last he had found peace and composed a symphony that begins differently than any before it. No radiant opening—instead, dark sounds—almost like groping through fog that is suddenly pierced by brilliant sunshine. With verve and surprising twists, a cheerful piece of music unfolds.
Beethoven’s Fourth is often overlooked, yet it is full of energy and humor. How did Beethoven compose this light? Stay tuned—the answer will be revealed at our family symphony concert!
Starting at 3:00 p.m., there will be a group craft activity with Jacqueline Koschnitzki-Pflanz.
