Open air at Turm Baur - seats are covered!

On my "Mia san Oans" solo live tour, which lasted over two and a half years and was performed in front of over 70,000 enthusiastic spectators, I was repeatedly confronted with song requests from my audience. Sometimes by email, but often also directly before, during and after the concerts, my audience expressed their heartfelt song requests. These often concerned current songs, but very often also songs from the early days of my work as a songwriter. It's amazing what a broad spectrum of songs were or still are important to my audience in some way.

When rummaging through my song archive, I first realized that I wrote my very first song "Pubertäts-Blues" as a 15-year-old and will be celebrating my 50th anniversary as a singer-songwriter in 2026. A period of time in which I wrote well over 200 songs, some of which I've performed again and again, but some of which I haven't performed live for ages, and some of which I've never even performed live. So it's high time for a collector's tour with a selection of the most popular, most requested, but also the weirdest Schmidl songs that have perhaps never been performed in front of an audience.

I have a great desire to be on the road solo as a Momentnsammler! With unlimited freedom, maximum spontaneity... and, of course, a fierce determination to fulfill the special wishes of my audience at every concert. If all goes well, I'll be on the road for a while on the upcoming Momentnsammler tour and in 2028 I'll also be celebrating my 50th anniversary on stage... what a gift that would be!

I look forward to every concert, to each and every one of you. Let's enjoy the moments that life gives us together and that we will give each other at the Momentnsammler evenings... despite and precisely because of these hard, cynical and cold times. Because as the song "Da drauf drink ma oan" from my very first album says: "De Zeiten san vui z'hart zum härter werdn. The times are too cold to get colder. The people who moan, if only there wasn't so much hate and envy.

And I say: In the long run, love is unavoidable" Mia san oans ... and my thanks for that!
