An egg wants to fly, but it mustn’t fall, because it’s fragile. While the egg dreams of flying, a man and a woman act out all the possibilities of falling and flying in a charming, clown-like way. Through images and words, the two explore the difference between lightness and heaviness.
There are laws of nature: a feather floats, a sack plummets. But can a house, a chair, or a person fly? Every law has its exceptions. There is much between up and down, heaven and earth; and with poetry, anything is possible—even flying.
A play in poetic imagery by Florschütz & Dühnert about thedifferencebetween lightness and heaviness, about flying and falling, for children (ages 2–5).
