The latest project from record-breaking filmmaker Erik Grun. Kai Uwe from Thuringia is an amateur filmmaker who wants to make a zero-budget blockbuster with a film crew from Middle Franconia. However, the whole thing descends into chaos and reignites the East-West conflict.

Two comic book fans are determined to create a new superhero. But their creativity turns into pure madness.  
Simon Begemann, a filmmaker from Erlangen, has created a technically brilliant sci-fi blockbuster that has been celebrated—and rightly so—at various film festivals.

When the sun slowly sets in the summer and the air is still warm, it’s finally time for open-air cinema in the E‑Werk garden. Grab your favorite people, kick back in a lounge chair, and enjoy movies in a relaxed setting under the starry sky. 

Unless otherwise noted, we show all films in the German dubbed version. Look forward to a lovingly curated mix of timeless classics and arthouse gems.  
 
The garden opens at 6 p.m.—the perfect time to arrive, take a deep breath, and get in the mood. As soon as the sun goes down, your movie experience begins. 

We’ve got everything you need to go with it: cool drinks and really great fries to make your summer evening complete.
