Groups of 8 or more can only be booked via email!
Additional costs, such as extra ceramics or beverages, will be settled on-site in cash, via PayPal, or by credit card at the event.
In our 3.5-hour workshop, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on painting, learn how to prepare matcha the traditional way, and enjoy a tasting with the group.
What’s Included
• The workshop and all materials needed to paint your matcha bowl.
• Your custom-designed matcha bowl (including glazing and firing; pick up later).
• Guided preparation of your matcha by our experts, followed by a group tasting.
• Two drinks per person during the workshop (matcha, hojicha, or mocktails); please specify any allergies when booking.
With the Deluxe Ticket, you’ll also receive a goodie bag:
• Your very own chasen (bamboo whisk), chasen stand, and bamboo spoon to take home.
• A sample of our premium matcha to enjoy at home.
Schedule & Organization
The workshop lasts 3.5 hours: a brief introduction to techniques and design, followed by time to create your piece with individual guidance. We’ll glaze and fire your finished ceramic piece and notify you when it’s ready for pickup—due to kiln and business hours, completion may take 3–4 weeks.
Who is this for?
Ideal for friends, couples, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or team events—no prior experience necessary; we’ll provide the materials, instructions, and a great atmosphere.
Important Information About Tickets & Rescheduling
• Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your ticket early.
• You can reschedule once free of charge up to 48 hours before the event; after that, our cancellation policy applies (cancellation fees may apply).
• Groups of 8 or more must book via email; special deadlines apply for larger groups.
• Additional ceramics or beverages can be paid for on-site in cash, via PayPal, or by card.
Note on Reservations and Price Changes
A reservation made through our booking system solely secures a spot for the selected date but does not constitute a binding purchase agreement.
Price changes or adjustments to our offerings may occur at any time and also apply to reservations that have already been made. There is no entitlement to the prices or terms valid at the time of the reservation as long as no payment has been made and, therefore, no legally binding contract has been concluded.
The contract is not legally binding until full payment for the ticket has been made, under the terms and conditions in effect at that time. The reservation therefore serves solely to secure a seat for organizational purposes.
Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation:
Up to7 days before the event date, you can cancel your booking free of charge via email or WhatsApp, or reschedule it for another date.
Cancellation 6 to 2 days before the event:
If you cancel between6 and 2 days before the event date, we will charge50% of the ticket price. Alternatively, you may reschedule to another date once free of charge or transfer your ticket to another person.
Cancellation 48 hours or less before the event / No-show:
If you cancelless than 48 hours before the event startsor if you do not show up (no-show), thefull ticket price isdue. A refund is not possible in this case. However, you can transfer your ticket to another person—please let us know in advance.
Group bookings (8 or more people):
The same deadlines apply to groups of 8 or more people; due to the increased planning effort involved, we reserve the right to charge at least50% of the total amountfor last-minute cancellations (less than 7 days in advance). We will clarify the details in the individual group confirmation email.
Rescheduling:
Rescheduling to a different date is possible—subject to availability—oncefree of charge up to48 hours before the event begins. Any additional rescheduling may besubjectto a flat processing fee of€10 per booking.
Vouchers & Promotional Prices:
Tickets that have already been paid for can generallybe converted intogift certificates but cannot be refunded in cash. Promotional prices and discounts cannot be combined with other promotions and are valid only for the advertised period and the respective event.
Important Note Regarding Rescheduling:
If you reschedule your ticket to a different date (regardless of when the rescheduling takes place), the new event is considereda new booking. You cannot cancel this new booking for free. If you cancel the new date—regardless of how many days in advance—100% of the ticket pricewill be charged as a cancellation fee. The rebooking itself is free of charge up to 48 hours before the original event; after that, it is subject to the cancellation rules mentioned above (50% for 6–2 days, 100% for <48 h). We therefore recommend making rebookings as early as possible.
These policies help us plan materials, staff, and seating fairly—while ensuring a high-quality experience for you and all other guests.
