Design your own matcha bowl and learn how to prepare the perfect matcha—all during a relaxing afternoon filled with creativity and enjoyment 🍵

Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. 

Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

Groups of 8 or more can only be booked by email!

Additional costs, such as extra clay or drinks, will be settled on-site in cash, via PayPal, or by credit card at the event.

In our 3.5-hour workshop, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on painting, learn how to prepare matcha the right way, and enjoy a tasting with the group.

What’s Included 
    • The workshop and all materials needed to paint your matcha bowl.
    • Your custom-designed matcha bowl (including glazing and firing; pick up later).
    • Guided preparation of your matcha by our experts, followed by a group tasting.
    • Two drinks per person during the workshop (matcha, hojicha, or mocktails); please specify any allergies when booking.

With the Deluxe Ticket, you’ll also receive a goodie bag:

 • Your very own chasen (bamboo whisk), chasen stand, and bamboo spoon to take home.
    • A sample of our premium matcha to enjoy at home.

Schedule & Organization


The workshop lasts 3.5 hours: a brief introduction to techniques and design, followed by time to create your piece with individual guidance. We’ll glaze and fire your finished ceramic piece and notify you when it’s ready for pickup—due to kiln and business hours, completion may take 3–4 weeks.

Who’s this for?


Ideal for friends, couples, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or team events—no prior experience necessary; we’ll provide the materials, instructions, and a great atmosphere.
Important Information About Tickets & Rescheduling
    • Spots are limited, so be sure to secure your ticket early.
    • You can reschedule once free of charge up to 48 hours before the event; after that, our cancellation policy applies (cancellation fees may apply).
    • Groups of 8 or more must book via email; special deadlines apply for larger groups.
    • Additional ceramics or beverages can be paid for on-site in cash, via PayPal, or by card.

Note on Reservations and Price Changes

A reservation made through our booking system solely secures a spot for the selected date but does not constitute a binding purchase agreement.

Price changes or adjustments to our offerings may occur at any time and also apply to reservations that have already been made. There is no entitlement to the prices or terms in effect at the time of the reservation as long as payment has not been made and, consequently, a legally binding contract has not been concluded.

The contract is only binding under the terms and conditions in effect at that time upon full payment of the ticket. The reservation therefore serves solely to secure a seat for organizational purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation is not possible. You may reschedule your reservation up to 48 hours before the start of the event for a processing fee of €5 per person. If you are unable to attend your reservation, you may transfer your tickets for the booked date to another person free of charge.
