Some bands grow with every concert. Others leave their mark. Lalalar do both. After two intense, sold-out and sweaty nights in Cologne in 2023 & 2024, we are finally bringing Lalalar back to Cologne in 2026 - with new material, new power and the unbroken urge to break musical boundaries.

The Istanbul natives stand for an uncompromising, dark and highly energetic mix of Anatolian traditions, industrial, post-punk, rave and political urgency. Retro-cinematic basslines meet dirty electronic beats, distorted guitars, broken vocals and samples from Anatolia's cultural memory. The result is not nostalgia - but future nostalgia. In the two new singles, Rumi's 750-year-old verses collide with the reality of today's Istanbul, Black Sea folklore collides with Berlin 4/4 rave, 7/8 grooves tip over into industrial ecstasy. Lalalar call this Horon Rave - we call it: compelling, raw, hypnotic.

Anyone who has experienced Lalalar live knows:
This is not a concert. It's a collective state of emergency.

Local Support: Aylin Celik (Düsseldorf)

Aylin Celik - one of the most exciting young voices and artists from NRW - opens the stage for Lalalar. The Düsseldorf-based singer, producer, author and performer moves effortlessly between neo soul, UK garage, electronic pop, R'n'B and bass-heavy club sounds - emotional, powerful and intimate at the same time.

Her debut album "Twentysomething" provides the soundtrack for the contradictions of the present between nostalgia, insecurity, euphoria and self-assertion. Her songs deal with belonging, origin, discrimination, interpersonal relationships and the search for a home. - The songs are carried by fast beats, warm soul pads, booming basses and a remarkably direct emotionality.

Aylin Celik is much more than just a musician. While still at school, she toured German-speaking stages between music and poetry slam, qualified for the German-language poetry slam championships and won the songslam there in 2018. This combination of language, performance, attitude and musical openness still characterizes her art today. Aylin also moves between music, theater and social discourse outside of her own releases - including as a composer and author for productions at Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and in the independent scene.

After the concert, the Gebäude 9 Bar becomes the Süperdisko floor!

After the Acid Kebap Nights in the Nachtigall, Burakete turns up the "Summer Vibes" again - Burakete conjures up a perfectly coordinated Southeast Mediterranean menu from rare vinyl pearls, (digitized) lost tapes & the latest club sounds with small bites and delicious highlights from Organic & Electronic Anatolian Funk & Disko Grooves between past and present spiced with a big, colorful mix of Habibi Vibes, Balkan, Govende, & more.

AcidBBQ I Outdoor building 9 I free entry

If you want to satisfy your musical hunger and enjoy delicacies before, during or after - our AcidBBQ runs from 7 p.m. in the courtyard of Building 9. We'll fire up the barbecue, add the contact grill and serve delicious sandwiches - vegan, vegetarian & kebap/koftis. (P.S. only while stocks last!)

We'll also bring cozy background sounds, seating and a few backgammon boards!

Free admission to the courtyard! The bar and toilets are also accessible for free until 10 pm. From 10 pm (for logistical reasons) only for 5 € entrance to Süperdisko Aftershowparty.
