Jazz Heroes: San Glaser & Hermine Deurloo

When musical role models become musical partners, the result is encounters of exceptional intensity. As part of the Jazz Federation Hamburg’s “Jazz Heroes” series, Hamburg-based singer, pianist, and composer San Glaser joins forces with Dutch harmonica virtuoso Hermine Deurloo—an artist whose playing has inspired San for many years. For this special concert, San Glaser’s warm voice, her expressive songwriting, and her freedom of improvisation meet Hermine Deurloo’s elegant and unmistakable soundscape. Together, they reimagine well-known compositions and create space for spontaneous musical dialogues.
