HOWARD CARPENDALE - Gießener Kultursommer
In the organizer's words:
HOWARD CARPENDALE – Live at the Giessen Cultural Summer 2026
With an unparalleled career, countless hits, and more than six decades in the spotlight, Howard Carpendale is one of the greatest entertainers in the German-speaking music world. In the spring of 2026, the singer will bid farewell on a major farewell tour—and due to the overwhelming response from fans, an official encore is now on the way: additional open-air concerts in the summer of 2026, including an exclusive performance at the Giessen Cultural Summer on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The concert at Schiffenberg Abbey offers the ideal setting for this. In a historic setting, surrounded by nature and a unique open-air atmosphere, Carpendale will perform his greatest classics one last time—from emotional ballads to high-energy hits. An evening full of memories, music, and gratitude, carried by an extraordinary voice and a first-class live band. With this, Carpendale also wants to bid farewell to his loyal fans in Hesse.
“It never fails to move me to see how many people my show reaches and touches,” says Carpendale. “This response isn’t something to be taken for granted—which is why I’m looking forward to this encore this summer even more.”
The audience can look forward to a special concert moment: a unique open-air experience under the stars at one of Hesse’s most beautiful venues, featuring classics like “Hello Again,” “Ti Amo,” “Saturday Night,” “Your Footprints in the Sand,” and many other songs that have accompanied generations.
Once again, it’s time to say, “Do it again, Howie”!
