Thomas Thalhammer & Hannes Moser ALLES SCHWINDEL. Houdini Edition

Inspired by historical figures and stories, Thomas Thalhammer—with the support of musician Hannes Moser—explores the often-neglected history of magic and connects it to the present. Where are we surrounded by deception even today, offstage? But this isn’t a history lesson—it’s told through the medium of magic itself.
In the process, a drawing created by audience members finds its way to an impossible place, minds are read, and one or two absurd events unfold.

Since 2026 also marks the 100th anniversary of the death of escape artist Harry Houdini, this year’s evening is entirely dedicated to the great Houdini—and who knows, maybe he’ll even make an appearance in person… An evening of magical stories blending magic, mentalism, and theater—stories that seek out the small wonders in and around us and challenge our perceptions… and make us wonder if some things aren’t just a trick after all.
