Summer Sessions: ARAK

ARAK is a duo that blends jazz, electronic music, and soul. Karim [&] Nora live in Dortmund. Most of their songs are original compositions. It’s hard to put into words—just come by and give it a listen; we look forward to seeing you!

This year’s domicil Summer Sessions are once again themed “Small concerts—Big vibes.” 
With these popular concerts in a relaxed and casual atmosphere downstairs at the domicil Bar, we’re slowly getting back into the concert season. 
All concerts are free admission :-)

ARAK is a unique musical duo consisting of Karim and Nora, who create a magical blend of jazz, electronic, and soul. Most of the music and songs they perform are their own compositions, and each piece carries a unique identity and a truly wonderful sound.

The truth is, it’s really hard to describe exactly what they offer in words, because their music takes you on a journey through different worlds—a blend of Western magic and Eastern spirit that’s both subtle and surprising at the same time. It’s one of those experiences that’s better lived than described, which is why we’re waiting for you to come hear them—and we promise you’ll have a great time.
