In the organizer's words:
Authenticity and Wholeness in Connection
with Johann Maria Braun and Prabodhi Birgitta Braun
Seminar Description
Somatic Pulsing offers a space to encounter yourself mindfully and deeply. We support this process of self-discovery with the meditative energy work known as Tibetan Pulsing.
Workshop Topics
- What does connection mean to you?
- How can you be mindful and connected in contact without losing your sense of self-determination?
- What do you need to feel safe in connection?
- How can you be open and vulnerable without distancing yourself from others?
Tibetan Pulsing: Energy Flow and Inner Stillness Through Mindful Touch
Tibetan Pulsing restores the flow of stagnant and blocked energy at the level of the nervous system. At the same time, our minds become stiller and our hearts open through mutual touch at energy points within the held space of the group. The tool and medium of this body and energy work is the power of the shared pulse. Through the pulse and mindful touch—which can feel like an ancient form of touch—an experience of deep inner stillness becomes possible, allowing you to be in contact without fear or intention. A profound process of transformation takes place.
Somatic Experiencing (SE)®: Deepening Body Awareness and Rediscovering Safety
Using elements of Somatic Experiencing (SE)®, you’ll become aware of a more subtle body awareness and your natural need for safe, compassionate contact. Formative, traumatic experiences from our childhood and our lives are contrasted with a slowed-down and safe space in the present moment. You’ll experience healing impulses that strengthen both your trust and your sense of self-determination.
Holistic Healing: Regulating the Nervous System and Strengthening Resilience
The integration of both methods enables us to renegotiate and embody our natural ability to connect. This leads to holistic regulation that releases tension in the nervous system and increases our resilience. We feel freer, more empowered, and more alive.
Note
This program may evoke feelings and memories that deeply affect you. It is important that you feel emotionally stable and are ready to take responsibility for yourself and your experience.
