Hot summer nights in New York City. In Brooklyn, Adnan, a young student, is house-sitting for his uncle. In Chinatown, he works part-time at a gallery exhibiting the playful, sexually charged embroidery of the older artist Sal. Adnan had a tender affair with Sal a year ago, just as he’s now having nighttime adventures with the young food delivery driver Yariel. And in between, the echo of his great love for the writer Iggie lingers.
