JanPlewka & Marco Smedtje - Between the lights

With “Between the Bars” and “Between the 80’s,” Plewka and Schmedtje have already enchanted their audiences in numerous sold-out shows over the past few years. In early 2026, the duo will return to the stage with “Between the Lights,” a new program that includes an EP. The program features songs about death. Tracks like “Killing Me Softly,” “The End,” and “Wonderful Life” take the listener on an emotional journey through their own existence—though, of course, not without celebrating the joyful moments in between. An evening that approaches the theme of farewell in a heartfelt way, sometimes in major keys, sometimes in minor. There will be moments of longing, healing, tears, and laughter. In the end, it’s an invitation to embrace life.
