Bürgersingen im Johannapark

Our community singing brings young and old together to sing folk songs. Everyone is welcome to sing along or simply join in. Music teacher Gabriele Lamotte leads the singing.

Every Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm, around 100 to 250 singers sing for an hour on the "Bürgersingenwiese". Songs such as "Sah ein Knab ein Röslein stehen" are sung with a lot of pathos, while Laurentia gets everyone down on their knees. The citizens' singing ends with the canon Dona Nobis Pacem.

We have been organizing this project as an offer for everyone since 2015. No previous knowledge is required. Admission is free. We would be delighted if you could join us and, of course, if you could support us with donations.
