Jan van Weyde - "Immer Weyder..."

Jan van Weyde is a stand-up comedian and dubbing artist from Cologne. He makes a living from his own experiences, so to speak. He is known from formats such as "Last One Laughing", "Sketch History" and the movie "Das Kanu des Manitu". He began his career as an actor - "Storm of Love" fans will remember. After 2023, he is now coming to the Kulturraffinerie K714 with his third solo program "Immer Weyder...". What is it about? Jan takes the audience into his world of absurd observations. The hamster wheel of everyday madness goes round and round for the comedian, actor and father of two.

Jan is always in the middle of the balancing act between stages, recordings, parents' evenings and the domestic Bermuda Triangle of female hormones: A daughter in the throes of wiggly-tooth puberty, a second on the cusp of becoming a defiant teenager and a wife in pre-menopause. Where others despair, Jan tirelessly strikes comedy gold. He plays, triumphs and ... fails. "If something goes wrong", his imaginary buddy Heiko is of course at his side, who always has a reliable instinct for putting his foot in his mouth. Jan van Weyde explains in his likeable, authentic way how he manages to keep all the balls in the air while constantly juggling his job and family. And he can do it like no other. Because he is charming, he is fast, he is simply Jan.
