In the organizer's words:
The oil painting “Vom Weyerberg” by Fritz Overbeck has long been on permanent loan to the Overbeck Museum. Now, the Carl Ed. Meyer Foundation wishes to donate the painting to the museum. The ceremonial handover of the painting honors Alfred Meyer-Piening, co-founder of the Overbeck Museum, and offers insights into the history of this special work of art.
The event is open to the public.
