Under the guidance ofOliver Sin, an internationally renowned artist and author of the standard works “Drawing the Head for Artists” and “Facial Expressions for Artists,” you’ll learn the art of expressive portrait drawing. As a professor with over 25 years of experience at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Oliver Sin teaches techniques for creating lively and character-filled portraits with charcoal.

The workshop will be held in English with German translation.

March 12–14, 2027 (Fri–Sun), 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

7 hours per day (including a 1-hour lunch break) — 6 effective instructional hours daily, for a total of 18 hours.

 

What to Expect
