Ella Carina Werner is writing a funny new collection of stories: the heroine is a middle-aged Hanseatic woman called Ella Carina Werner, who finally fulfills a long-cherished dream and founds the punk band "Menopause - Turbosause" with her friends, but in between shuffles off to her children's parents' evenings or discusses the end of capitalism with her greedy Haspa advisor in order to somehow cope with everyday life.
The book will be published by Antje Kunstmann in September - and this evening is therefore the ideal time to find the final, ultimate version with the help of scathing feedback and critical comments from the audience. In short, the satirist and "Titanic" co-editor will read five chapters from the book and is ready to throw everything overboard once again. What can go? What is boring? If the audience doesn't like it, the manuscript will be ceremoniously burned at the end of the reading and rewritten together until sunrise.

There is also a lot to clarify musically: Is it even possible to form a punk band as a woman going through the menopause? If so, how good are the chances on the music market? And which punk rock hits, mainly by "she-punks", are suitable for the playlist for the book? Boos, but also praise allowed!
