Die Libellen - Akustik-Konzert
In the organizer's words:
Die Libellen play indie pop with German lyrics. The trio—featuring Christian Schober on vocals and guitar, Jan Wienforth on bass, and Oliver Glück on drums—is from Munich, and you can really hear that in their songs: they go to Negroni parties, “shine a light on Munich’s businesswomen,” and make “Chinese characters” their promises of salvation.
“Becoming a useful member of society was my motivation from the very beginning”—that’s the band’s motto in a city where the “coup d’état of love” is nothing but a dream. Last resort? “Of all the things that rob you of your freedom, I don’t want to miss out on alcohol and cigarettes.”
