With Lype, choral sound becomes an experience! The new contemporary choir is an innovative fusion of its home city of Leipzig and the hype of contemporary music, bringing together almost 70 singers aged between 20 and 50. Musically, the choir can be characterized by the words "cineastic" and "fantasy" - to be heard in sophisticated vocal arrangements by pop luminaries such as James Rose, Rob Dietz, Ben Bram or from the pen of choirmaster Daniel Barke himself. The repertoire ranges from an impressive new version of the choral classic "And So it Goes" to a rhythmically impressive cross between Jewish and German songs in "Shir Avoda" and "Die Lorelei". Whether jazz icon Jacob Collier or contemporary classical composer Alec Roth - Lype 's range is as broad as its amplitude.
