Christine Haas: Erwischt! Neue Fälle
In the organizer's words:
Ages 9 and up
Since the reading in 2025 unfortunately had to be canceled, we’re now looking forward to Christine Haas even more! She’ll be telling stories of brilliant con artists, spectacular cases, and clever police work.
Selling the Eiffel Tower? What an idea! Who was behind it, and how was the culprit caught? Following the tremendous success of “Caught!”, Christine Haas has unearthed new, sensational criminal cases from history and is taking us on a manhunt. Together, we’ll become amateur detectives and look over the shoulders of the police and criminal investigators as they conduct their inquiries. Along the way, we’ll gain fascinating insights into the history of crime and law enforcement.
Christine Haashas always been captivated by stories. Whether fictional or based on real events—this passion certainly played a role in her choice of college majors: history, German language and literature, and political science. Afterward, she worked as an editor at a publishing house. She has since written many books for children, including both fiction and nonfiction. The author lives with her family in Hamburg
