Buchvorstellung "Pour une poésie conjuratoire" von Sylvain Saura
In the organizer's words:
CaNoFF is organizing a meeting and reading with Sylvain Saura at the Institut français Bremen on the occasion of the publication of his essay "Pour une poésie conjuratoire" by Hermann-Verlag:
Sylvain Saura is a literary scholar in the field of comparative literature and an associate member of the Center transdisciplinaire d'épistémologie de la littérature et des arts vivants (CTELA) at the Université Côte d'Azur. In his interdisciplinary research, he combines anthropological, philosophical and biblical approaches to question the existential implications of modern and contemporary poetry. He is also a lecturer at the University of Bremen.
His essay Pour une poésie conjuratoire (For an evocative poetry), published by Éditions Hermann in April 2026, explores the poetic thinking of Benjamin Fondane and Henri Meschonnic. At different times, both poets tried to counteract the same danger through the power of poetry: that of discourses of domination and ideologies, which in their eyes were the direct cause of the catastrophes that shook their respective eras.
