• 15:30 to 16:15 IN THE MUSIC SALON (ground floor): JUNGLE GANG

  The German-French band Jungle Gang emerged from a music project at the Bremen Music School led by drummer Günter Orendi. With rhythms ranging from swing to festive rock, they interpret pieces from Zaz to Mathieu Chedid.

  The pupils of the Oberschule an der Koblenzer Straße interpret the song "Liberté" by Soolking: an ode to peace and freedom, with which they stand up for coexistence and freedom of expression.

• 18:00 to 18:30 IN THE GARDEN (UG): Franco-German choir: German and French chansons

  For years, the Franco-German Choir Bremen has welcomed the summer with a small concert in the garden of the Institut Français. We are delighted to be able to contribute to the Fête de la musique 2026 again with a small, colorful program of French songs. Our choir will be conducted by Sonja Gebert on this day.

  From Françoise Hardy to ZAZ, from France Gall to Maëlle - the Bremen duo Andersen & Sellheim bring beautiful and strong female voices of French music to the Fête de la Musique at the Institut Français. And take the audience on a short, entertaining journey through almost 60 years of music history
