In the organizer's words:
IS A SPACE BEYOND WAR, VIOLENCE, CONFLICT, AND EXCLUSION POSSIBLE? What exactly is anti-Semitism, and why does it invariably rear its head as soon as tensions within a society intensify? What lies behind the exclusion of people perceived as Muslim in our country? In light of the war in Israel/Palestine, how can we maintain the bridges in the interreligious trialogue between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam?
The artENSEMBLE THEATER has conducted field research, interviewed experts, community members, and people with no religious affiliation, and used this to create a theatrical performance that is constantly being updated. Key points of reference include the attacks in Halle in 2019, in Hanau in 2020, and the Middle East conflict.
A post-performance discussion with the actors will follow.
