FUNDUS THEATER

We are a children's theater that focuses on research theater. In addition, our theater advisors, a group of children with international family histories, suggest new projects to the theater once a year. We have been around since 1980, were awarded the German Federal Theater Prize in 2016 and our research theater received the 2023 Perspective Prize of the Länder of the German Theater Prize DER FAUST. Performance art makes our theater a scenic laboratory for childhood, art and science. We are also the premiere venue for selected mobile children's theater and home to the Hamburg Children's Theater Festival.
