Manni and Chantal dream of big money, marriage in Las Vegas and a work-free life under palm trees. But first they have to break a bank. A piece of cake! At least if they could read road maps on the run, didn't forget to refuel and didn't use opaque stocking masks. And so various attempts by the narrow-gauge crooks ultimately end in a serious relationship crisis. But it's not just bad luck that's hot on their heels, the police are on their tail too...
