ZurHub Quartet - Countryside Motorways

In the organizer's words:

The ZurHub ensemble was founded by Ezequiel Jait and Mattan Klein, both originally from Jerusalem.

The band specializes in performing and composing original Brazilian Jazz music, which merges the rich and varied sounds of Brazil with Jazz improvisation and virtuoso playing.

The band’s music is a unique fusion of Brazilian rhythms, such as Choro, Samba and Bossa Nova, with Jazz harmonies and improvisation. Their works are influenced by a variety of musical traditions, from folk to classical music, and often are inspired by the landscapes and cultures of Brazil.

The ensemble has been highly regarded by audiences and critics alike, the most recent band album was released on the prestigious Origin Records Jazz label and received rave reviews.
Their performances have been praised for their energy, creativity and virtuosity.

ZurHub members have performed worldwide. Including the London Jazz Festival, Sibiu Jazz Festival , Romania, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Denmark, and more.

ZurHub continues to push the boundaries of Brazilian jazz, creating music that is both innovative and authentic.
