Dealing with queerness in coming-of-age narratives is perfect for diverse storytelling! But does it always have to be a coming-out story?
In this workshop, we will focus on queer films for young audiences. Using exercises and film examples, we will examine the narrative and dramaturgical potential of coming-of-age stories.
The goal is to recognize the often limited view of queerness and replace it with new, empowering narrative ideas.
