Unterwegs im Minoritenquartier
In the organizer's words:
The Cologne City Museum is now located in the former Sauer fashion house in the heart of the city center. But what stories and personalities can the buildings in the Minoritenquartier around Haus Sauer tell us? What was life like directly in the shadow of the cathedral, in the immediate vicinity of the city wall and Hohestraße over the last 1500 years? What connections are there with the collection and history of the Cologne City Museum? On this city walk, you will experience the history of the buildings and their inhabitants through architecture, streets, monuments and art installations. References to the present are discovered and a look into the future is ventured.
