Tulipa Ruiz: The singer, songwriter and visual artist is one of the most important voices in contemporary Brazilian music. It's not about individual big hits, but about her independent musical signature and the versatility of her voice. Her music combines elements of MPB, pop, rock and experimental approaches, and over the years she has constantly created new mixtures and timbres, always playful and light but always with dense atmospheric moments. An ongoing exploration of different musical possibilities with an open approach to melody, rhythm and sound textures that she is constantly refining.

Tulipa Ruiz became known through her debut album "Efêmera" (2010), which was praised for its freshness and melodies and was included in the list of the best Latin albums of the decade by the US magazine "Rolling Stone". Her second album "Tudo Tanto" (2012) earned her a Multishow Award for Best Newcomer and cemented her reputation as one of the most important voices in contemporary Brazilian music.

In 2015, "Dancê" marked a turning point: with the album, she was nominated for Best Newcomer and won the prize for Best Pop Album at the Latin Grammy Awards - with lively songs that celebrate movement and joy. This was followed by "Tu" (2019), a mixture of experimental pop and tropical sounds, and "Quem É Você?" (2021), which explores electronic, indie and Brazilian rhythms.

Their most recent album "Habilidades Extraordinárias" (2023) combines eclectic soundscapes with a bold artistic identity and was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the category "Best Rock or Alternative Album in Portuguese".
