In the organizer's words:
A young Kurdish woman in Syria leads a women’s unit in the fight against ISIS for freedom and women’s rights. A Yazidi survivor also tells her story: as a child, she was enslaved by ISIS, and through her story, she highlights what is at stake if this fight fails. And while she survived the horror, a German woman voluntarily joined ISIS and is now at the mercy of the consequences of her decision.
