The Ballad of a Woman Who Retired and Lived Another 30 Years.

Helga. A woman who retires, and whom we accompany until the very end. She lives a normal—indeed, utterly ordinary—life; she does what all baby boomers do: travel, volunteer, exercise, go to the doctor, shop… But then she gets sick; an all-too-modern illness strikes her, and she seeks a cure. That’s when she realizes: she’s not alone. There’s someone else there, in her head.

Following the successful 2011 production, this is the 2026 revival at the Goldbekhaus.
