Stefan Gwildis is a Hamburg native through and through, having grown up in Barmbek and spent his entire life in the city. Now, after 50 years on stage, he presents his very personal declaration of love to his favorite city at the St Pauli Theater: "Stefan Gwildis: mein Hamburg - die schönsten Songs und Stories aus der schönsten Stadt." In his typical style, he takes the audience on a journey through the city on the Elbe, Alster and Bille rivers - musically supported by Tobias Neumann on piano and Hagen Kuhr on cello - of course there are his Hamburg songs to be heard, but also songs, stories and anecdotes from other Hamburg artists who are personally important to him or have shaped him.
