SO SORRY

In 2023, Zuza Jasinska (vocals), Shanice Ruby Bennet (bass) and Käthe Johanning (keyboards) founded SO SORRY, joined a year later by Lenny Rehm (drums). It is a collective band that decides together how the music should sound, which pieces should be included in the repertoire and how to present themselves to the outside world. This is perhaps the best way to explain the equally emotional, extroverted and far-reaching sound clash of SO SORRY, with which this four-piece from Berlin has recently made a name for itself. Above all, it is this casual and urgent combination of contemporary jazz, alternative pop and R&B with which SO SORRY manages to grab the audience at their concerts. And then the rebellious consciousness of hip-hop or the soulful lyricism of European folklore can also be heard in the music. Increasingly successful, as evidenced by the first places for SO SORRY at the Sparda Jazz Award and the Young Munich Jazz Prize last year.
