What many did not know: Jewish rabbis stood side by side with African-American activists in the American civil rights movement.

Reggie Harris and Jonathan Kligler have been musically connected for many years - and tell their story. At the center is the biblical Exodus narrative: an original text for the Jewish tradition and a powerful image for the struggle for freedom and equality in the African-American movement.

Songs like "If I Had a Hammer" or "Turn! Turn! Turn!" became anthems of the time - and this is exactly what they bring to the stage.

A concert full of history, attitude and music that still connects us today.
