Exhibition Opening

Play is not a childish pastime, but a cultural practice that forges connections, opens up spaces, and explores rules. Over the past year, students at the Jules Verne Campus have been exploring the various dimensions of play. At the Kulturhaus, they are showcasing some of the results: detailed drawings and abstract paintings, small clay figures, and large, three-dimensional images. Much of the work was created through teamwork, and some pieces are interactive.

Visitors can even get involved: In the true spirit of play, a large collaborative artwork will be created at the opening—anyone who wants to can use a pen and scissors to leave their mark on a canvas and thus become part of the exhibition. The necessary materials will be provided on site.
